Benji's Babies is a small but renowned hobby breeder of high-quality standard, tweenie, and miniature dachshund puppies in the Lake of the Ozarks and Kansas City regions of Missouri. I have been breeding dachshunds for 17 years. My puppies are raised with love and care in a clean environment with disease prevention and health as my first priorities. I also ensure that my puppies are loved and socialized before they become part of your family.

About Me :
My name is Angie and I am the breeder behind Benji's Babies. Benji was the name of my very first stud when I entered the breeding business. My love for the dachshund breed is what inspired me to begin breeding dachshunds and to share my love for the breed with others. I love to see the result of my efforts in the happy and healthy puppies that I am able to share with my customers. I enjoy all of the positive feedback, the updates, and the photos that I receive. I am always available to answer any questions that my customers may have.
Why dachshunds? I love that when I sit down, I immediately have dachshunds on my lap showing me love and affection. They love to cuddle. They are very loyal and are the best companions. Having dachshunds brings me joy and always brightens my day! Dachshunds also require very little grooming, and I love that they are low maintenance. I also love that because of their size, they are easy to bathe and take in the car.​
Dusty and Willow had a litter of dachshund puppies on 2/19/26. They will be 8 weeks old and ready for their new homes on 4/16/26. Puppies can be picked up at our home near Laurie, MO in the Lake of the Ozarks area between 4/16 and 4/19 or they can be picked up the evening of 4/19 in Excelsior Springs, MO in the Kansas City area.

The puppies will be de-wormed, microchipped, and will have their first vaccination. They will come with a folder containing a detailed health record, a health guarantee, and ACA (American Canine Association) registration. Puppies will also go home with a small sample of Diamond Naturals small and medium breed puppy food to get started.
I expect the puppies to weigh approximately 15 lbs at maturity. Dusty weighs 20 lbs and Willow weighs 10 lbs.
Puppies will be sold as pets and will only go to breeding programs that have been approved by Benji's Babies.

A $300 non-refundable deposit will hold the puppy of your choice until it is ready, with the remaining amount due in CASH at pick up of the puppy. Deposits may be placed through Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, or through cash in person (upon seeing puppy at our home near Laurie, MO).

She has already lost most of her shading. She is calm,quiet, and very sweet.

Her cream is lighter than her sister's and she has cream outlining her ears. Her coat is soft. She is friendly and playful.

3. Male shaded cream $2200
He has a calm and sweet temperament and loves to be held.

4. Female black and cream $2600 Her cream is slightly darker than her sister's and her coat is a little more coarse. She is friendly and is the liveliest and most playful puppy in the litter.

I hope to post another litter in mid to late May. These puppies will be standard size at around 19 lbs. I expect long haired red, cream, black, as well as dapple.
